Lauren is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Chapter, Suffolk and Nassau County Bar Associations and is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Eastern District. She is also a member of the National Association of Divorce Professionals. Lauren received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and attended the University of San Diego School of Law program in Barcelona where she studied International Criminal Law.
